About

A predominantly self-taught intuitive drummer I have learned most of what I know from listening to others, copying and developing ideas. Traditional musical education can at times be daunting and I believe that a practical approach is more accessible and welcoming to individuals who otherwise may feel that they simply could never play an instrument. This approach to music, combined with my studies at Brighton Institute of Modern Music, I feel gives me the proper foundation to be able to share my enthusiasm and knowledge with future generations.

As a drummer I have worked in both studio and live situations and have recorded in a number of studios including Metway in Brighton as well as having worked with legendary Olympic Studio Engineer Keith Grant.

My live work has included touring with Adam Barnes during the release of his debut E.P "Blisters" as well as being involved in a BBC Introducing project with well respected local Oxfordshire band Spring Offensive.

My passion for music doesn't just stop behind the drum kit; I'm also a keen bassist and guitarist as well as having an interest in the technical side of recording studio engineering.
